After the tease of behind-the-scenes photos of the models getting made up over two weeks ago and the extensive street photography coverage, I’m finally starting on the portraits I took on Day 2 in Cuba.
We’ll start with Kamy posing by the stairs at a venue that has gorgeous architecture. You won’t see much of the building in these three pictures, but I’ll show you more portraits later that showcase some of the place’s ornateness.
Taking photographs of models is fun, but I’m always left with an overabundance of frames to cull, which I find painful. Micro changes in expressions can make the difference in a portrait. It took some time to filter out the pictures, and I’ve selected these three to start with.
