As you saw from the previous post, it was fairly crowded at Chelsea Market. Not surprising since it was a Saturday. Note to self, next time I’m there, go on a weekday, at least to shoot architecture.

On the other hand, for street photography, more people can mean more opportunities, within reason. If it gets too crowded, it becomes a jumbled mess.

In this photo, I used the display shelf as a framing element to calm the crowd. The center square concentrates the action in the middle, and the more distracting periphery becomes somewhat softened.
