Custom Made Pizza, Pieology Pizzeria – Austin, Texas

As a former New Yorker, Pizza is my food passion. I love the stuff. I like most pizzas but I do have preferences. And I can be quite discriminating. My favorite is the thin crust “New York Style”, though my favorite pizzeria is in the Italian section in South Philadelphia. A family restaurant called Marra’s.

I’ve recently been to Pieology Pizzeria in Austin, a couple of times. No, it’s not a classic NY style, but I like it. You get to customize all aspect of a pizza, the dough, the cheeses and toppings. As much or as little as you want for one set price. It’s a chance at creativity and fun. The whole family likes it and we all get to make and eat our own creation.
