Following up on the Art-ish Raas Garba post from yesterday, I wanted to show you the power of variety of the Topaz Studio software. I featured the original photo on November 23, Black Friday, the biggest shopping day in the U.S. As much as I like color, there is only so much saturation you can add to a photograph, until it looks ridiculous.
This cosmetics store is a rare photograph that looks good, even with gobs of color. And, I’ve noticed that paintings can have even richer color than photographs and not look out-of-place. With that, I wanted to see what kind of crazy colors and textures I can apply with Topaz Studio, making eight variations in the process.
Which is your favorite?

I like the first one and the last one and the others are interesting, too.
Thanks your your vote, Marilyn. I probably like the first one the most, but I like most of them for different reasons.
I like the top one, but the blue one is fascinating. It has an underwater feel that transforms the subject somehow.
Hi Gina,
Thanks for your thoughts. The blue one is very different but interesting in its own way, I think.
