After the water and light show, I stayed longer to make urban landscapes. Singapore has an impressive and dense skyline, which I love capturing.
With Olympus’ excellent in-body image stabilization, I rarely use a tripod anymore. But, I did use one for the urban landscapes I made in Singapore. Hand-holding for over three seconds is not possible with the PEN-F and tenuous even for the latest improved models. If you don’t mind the weight and fuss, a tripod is still the best way to go for the highest quality.
The dark tracks are for the water and light show. Combined with the multi-colored reflections, they make for worthwhile foreground elements. Without those, the composition would look a whole lot less exciting.
