It’s time for a black and white break for a few days, especially after a series of colorful urban landscapes. Today we feature a rather unusual street photograph that I made with the Canon G7X Mark II.
I photographed a Hawker Center, which is a Singapore version of a food court, through a bamboo screen. Unlike the hipster hawker I blogged about a few weeks ago, this one is decidedly more traditional.
Between the glow of the lights, the bamboo texture, and the monochrome treatment, it’s a rather abstract image. Though if you look closely enough, you can discern the underlying outdoor seating area.
