Continuing with my underground Singapore mini-series, I noticed this rather dramatic set of ads blanketing this underground hallway — iPhones as far as you can see. I like how the red of the iPhones matches the red of the Tang Plaza pillar. Of course, red and black make an especially dramatic color combination.

I shot this in December 2018 when the iPhone XR was the hot new phone. A year later, we now have the iPhone 11.

I forgot the time I shot this, but I’m pretty sure it was late at night. Singapore is a dense and crowded city, and shooting during the day would probably not have created this people-less perspective.
