I finally made it back to the US, to Chicago from London. It was December 14th, and O’Hare Airport was decked out in Holiday lighting.
In the late ’80s, I worked in Chicago for a half year. I was a jet-set consultant back then and flew out of O’Hare every other Friday. The place looks about the same as it did 40 years ago. The architecture has aged well. I always liked the curved central spine of skylights.
You might have noticed my motion blur with leading lines technique. The same method that I used here in Singapore, applied in a different place. I don’t claim to be innovative, and often I’m not. It’s just a matter of doing the same thing in different circumstances. Perhaps that’s called photographic style? Or maybe it’s photographic laziness.
