Naudia, Drink and Click Portrait – Austin, Texas

Naudia is back again for the last photo in this series, after posing with her friend Bianca yesterday. I’ve actually made several portraits of Nadia from previous Drink and Clicks, but have yet to post them — I’ll have to work through my backlog.

Of course, since I don’t think there’s going to be any new Drink and Clicks for a while, having a backlog of photos to post is a good thing. It’s like having money in the photographic bank — so to speak — that I can draw from until I can create more “content”. Doing a post every day requires a steady stream of photographs and stories.

I’ve only used my new Fujifilm GFX 50R once at Drink and Click, and I liked the way it worked. I’m raring to using it again. I want to practice making more portraits. Because ultimately, a good portrait is determined more by gesture and lighting than a fancy camera. Though having a fancy camera is unquestionably fun.

I have a free monthly newsletter that’s perfect for busy people. Signup for the Newsletter to get the best of my posts, old and new, plus additional content not available anywhere else.
