I’m back in my neighborhood again, but with an entirely different camera. I just finished 25 posts featuring the Panasonic GM1. That was a 7-year-old camera that I got recently. I found it remarkably capable and still relevant in 2020. Today’s camera is considerably older, a 13-year-old point and shoot from Fujifilm.
I readily admit that I got bored during this pandemic lockdown, and I started scouring the web for inexpensive — hopefully worthwhile — cameras. The Panasonic GM1 was better than I expected. How’s this Fuji? Well, I’ll do a quick review tomorrow.
For today, I have a cheerful and colorful pinwheel at sunset that I found during my neighborhood walk. And, yes, that is the real sun and not some in-camera Sunshine JPEG effect. It makes for a perfectly adequate snapshot.
