Here is one more example of the architectural detailing you can find on East 6th Street. You can tell, these are fancier facades than the Joseph Nalle building.
You might recognize these buildings as a closeup of what I presented a few days ago. Except, there is one big difference — almost no cars. Unlike that photo, I made this post-lockdown, in the initial weeks when it was especially quiet just past mid-March. Not having cars reduces the clutter tremendously, as I pleasantly discovered.
Beyond the first group of buildings is the Driskill, the grand old hotel in Austin. Also visible at the very left edge is new construction — the Indeed Tower, which I blogged about at the beginning of July.
