I’m continuing today by featuring more remarkable details from Galaxy’s Edge. Like yesterday, I’ve isolated scenes so as not to show the reality of an overcrowded tourist attraction.
The crescent shape is formed by the rear of the Millennium Falcon and the curved spaceport. I thought it offered a unique framing of planet Batuu’s mountains. In reality, of course, these mountains are neither distant nor large. Disney does a great job tricking the eye with perspective.
The spaceport is part of the extensive waiting area for the Star Wars Smuggler’s Run ride. The second floor offers windows the look out and above the Millennium Falcon.
