Motion Blur, New Orleans Square – Anaheim, California

We were back in New Orleans Square in the evening, just in time for blue hour. That’s where the Haunted Mansion is located, which we visited before going to Galaxy’s Edge.

I was playing with motion blur to minimize the impact of the crowds. The side effect was to also produce a neat effect. I shot at 1/4 of a second aided by the lens-based image stabilization on the Fuji. I got it working well, mostly matching the in-body image stabilization in the Olympus.

The real New Orleans is an old city with narrow streets. But, Disney’s copy is a lot more cramped. Though the architecture does evoke the original in a scaled-down fashion.
