Mission Briefing – Anaheim, California

In yesterday’s post, I talked about the original Star Wars ride at Disneyland called Star Tours. I called it Budget Star Wars, because other than having a C3PO and R2D2 on set, it really doesn’t have the feeling of the movie. It looks too 1980’s with bright lights and shiny surfaces.

Today we have the mission briefing from Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run at the new Galaxy’s Edge. This is decidedly not budget. The scale of the ride and details have a very Star Wars-like feel.

I’ll show more from the ride over the next couple of posts. Getting to ride Smuggler’s Run again was an unexpected bonus. The first time, I waited in line for an hour and a half. Not so for my second or third rides. I’ll explain why a bit later.
