With my older son successfully graduating from college, this time it was my younger son’s turn. He was graduating from high school.
Central Texas doesn’t have a monsoon season, but it did this year. For a few weeks, we had almost daily rain. My older son’s graduation was adversely affected by rain. And now, it seemed to be happening again. The outdoor venue was canceled, and the event was moved indoors.
I snapped this picture on the way to the graduation ceremony. The clouds sure looked beautiful but ominous. What happened later was more disruptive than I ever expected. Details to follow tomorrow.
