I don’t think Little Tokyo would wow most people with its urban setting. However, some of the shopping areas have a healthy level of street activity. Enough so for street photography.
Passing by this shop, I snapped a picture of the window action. A woman was making Kaiten-yaki, a Japanese waffle-like dessert filled with sweet red bean paste. Not my cup of tea. But, the window and people effectively frames the action for a visual souvenir.
There are many names for this dessert, as seen in this entry on Wikipedia. And it has spread in popularity to Taiwan and the Philippines.
