Out on the Town – Austin, Texas

It was mid-June this year, and COVID was receding before the unexpected tidal wave of the delta spike. I was downtown for the ROT Rally (Republic of Texas Biker Rally) related activities.

On the way to my 6th street destination, I ran into these well-dressed women out on the town. I’m guessing they are not going to the biker rally, but you never know.

I was out of practice asking for portraits, given my reduced street photography this year. Luckily, the women were more than happy to oblige. Welcome to the 2021 coverage of the downtown ROT Rally nightlife, starting with a mini-series of street portraits.
