The Bulgari building had jewel-like architecture, but other 5th Avenue establishments sported fancy window displays. It was late at night, and I didn’t go window shopping. Instead, I went window shooting. And while there were many other upscale stores, I just captured a couple that attracted my attention.
This first over-the-top display features Gucci, or is it Adidas, or both. They’ve created a cross-brand line, I assume. I don’t follow either brand but transfixed by their glowing setup. Google Map research revealed this display came from a Gucci store and not Adidas.
The minimal but graphically bold window belongs to Louis Vuitton. I wonder if these windows entice customers to buy or are an exercise in branding. Clothing isn’t something that attracts me. Would I feel different if I found an incredible Leica display?
