Classic Porsche at SXSW – Austin, Texas

I’m starting this year’s SXSW coverage with Porsche. As is my tradition, I take the Friday off of my birthday week, which usually corresponds to the start of SXSW (South by Southwest) in March. The weather was noticeably better than the abnormally cold start a year ago.

I don’t plan my visit to the event, but I explore downtown to see what I find. However, I heard Porsche was here again, so I started with their exhibit. They built another elaborate structure on the same surface parking as SXSW 2022.

Here’s a classic Porsche, a 911, I believe, featured in an upcoming movie. The Fujifilm 16mm f2.8 gives the perfect 24mm equivalent perspective to frame the car and Porsche exhibit in the background.
