I talked yesterday about my most unusual burger at Schweitzerhof Kitchen — weird but fantastic. The restaurant was wonderful, too, and the modern and rustic interior elevated the experience. It was the perfect synergy of American food with a twist and an elegantly appointed interior.
The restaurant was part of Hotel Schweitzerhof, located on the main street in downtown Zermatt. We didn’t stay there but had a night out of memorable dining. It felt like a fusion of a hotel lounge and a restaurant with dining tables and comfortable sofas. A DJ quietly played pop/EDM/Techno music, giving the place a younger spirit.
I shot most at 1/4-second shutter speeds and even managed one at 1/2-second — all handheld. It was a dark, moody space, and these pictures were brighter than they were in reality. The slow shutter speeds allowed for comparably low ISOs, even with an f4 lens. Here are a few more images for your viewing pleasure.
