This photoshoot is one of the more interesting things I saw outside the Palace of Versailles, beyond the specular gardens. The woman’s red dress popped against the sandstone-colored palace facade. This backdrop was at the rear and about dead center of the structure.
I could tell this wasn’t a “professional” shoot — there weren’t any assistants. Plus, as you can see below, the photographer was using a smartphone. They were mostly likely either tourists or influencers — not that this is a bad thing.
I didn’t offer my services for their shoot; I just documented from afar. Heck, I’m not a professional either, just someone with a slightly fancier dedicated camera.
I don’t remember if I changed positions from the first to the second picture. However, I shot with a 25.6mm equivalent for the wide angle, while I was at 84.75mm in the telephoto version.
