I’ve featured all of these people in various blog posts at the beginning of my Cuba coverage. They all worked at the Casa in various capacities, from administrators to cooks.

Unlike the nights on days 2 and 3, where we went out to evening entertainment and dinner, on this fourth night we ate at the Casa. They cooked us another wonderful dinner from scratch.

It was a long and memorable day of shooting. It was special as seen from my coverage. It was great to relax “at home”. The next day would be easy, a free, unstructured day, but there was a storm brewing on the horizon that gave us all pause.
