I’ve always loved the Hawaiian Airlines tail design. It seems so appropriate in a tropical setting and it looks different from the typical airline logo. Whenever I see it, even for an instant, like in the opening sequence of Hawaii Five-0, it brings fond memories.
I shot this one at the Honolulu Airport last month, at a 300mm equivalent with the Panasonic ZS50 travel zoom. The telephoto compresses distance, making the tails look close to each other, even if the planes are separated by some distance.
