Here’s a closeup of the 2nd Street Bridge. While it’s small, it’s rather stylish. In fact, I think it’s my favorite in Austin, including the most famous one, the 360 Bridge, in the western suburbs.
The curve of the sidewalks mimics the curve of the support arches. LED lights continually rotate colors and the stainless rails give it a polished look. This is more than just a utilitarian structure.
The Canon G7X Mark II’s image stabilization is not quite as robust as Olympus. I opted to shoot this on tripod at 0.4 second shutter speed.
