While I go downtown fairly frequently, almost always for photography, I rarely do so with my family. So, when we were at the Mexic-Arte Museum, I suggested that we visit a place close by. My wife agreed, and my son was forced to tag along.
I showed her a relatively new food hall. We didn’t go there to eat but to appreciate how much Austin has grown in sophistication over the last twenty-five years. It’s no longer that sleepy but friendly backwater that a lot of us fell in love with.
I first visited this food hall during SXSW this year. I even featured a similar shot in this post. Except, I think this version is a lot neater, in black and white with the cool geometric light patterns.
