The Mysore Palace is so enormous, it’s harder than you think to capture the scale of the place. Plus, the typical touristy angles were rather untidy and, well, touristy. I was looking for a different perspective.
Obviously, the palace is designed to impress, and I guess the more domes, the better? I find the architecture rather cluttered, but this closeup makes for some intriguing details.
A telephoto lens on the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II compressed the domes together, rendering an assortment of architectural styles. Without context, these look like separate buildings, alas it’s just the top of Mysore Palace.
