I’ve talked about this “magical walkway” for the last couple of posts. I used it to get to the gardens that I wanted to photograph. Today, we see part of the path, a bridge the leads from the Marina Bay Sands to the gardens.
This backside view of the hotel seems less popular — most are from the downtown bay view. But this leading line to the hotel is dramatic, made even more so with the conversion to black and white.
I’m guessing that the baroque lit up gateway on the bridge is part of the holiday decorations. Which, honestly, I would have preferred not to have, photographically. I’m all for holiday decorations. It just that the gateway looks out of place in this otherwise modern composition.
