Lamar Blvd Bridge and Refection – Austin, Texas

For my second in my mini-series of the Lamar Blvd Bridge, an image that might look familiar to some. Today’s might look like this photo that I posted two weeks ago, with the obvious difference of the black and white treatment. However, they are not the same photograph.

I made this picture precisely 44 seconds before the other one. Yes, they look nearly the same. But, I preferred these cloud patterns better in monochrome — a small and subtle difference to be sure.

The color image from two weeks ago has its attractions, including the blue tones, which contrast with the red tail light motion blur. On the other hand, the black and white might arguably be more artistic, and the curved bridge supports really pop in this version.
