I’ve talked about Lady Bird Lake recently on a few occasions. This lake, which is really a dammed river, runs through downtown Austin. I was on the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge looking west. You can see the Lamar Blvd Bridge and the start of the hill country off in the distance.
Years ago, the Lamar Blvd Bridge was also used by cyclists and pedestrians, but the narrow walkway was a hazard. With the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, the bridge on Lamar was dedicated to vehicular traffic.
This was an 18-second exposure which produced the glowing motion-blur-induced red streaks from the taillights. It adds a pop of contrasting color to the predominantly cool blues of the scene.

Very nicely done! Love the long exposures.
Thank you, Kirk!
