For the last photo in this Radiator Springs series, I feature the last bit of neon from Sarge’s Surplus Hut. In keeping with the military surplus items sold here, the store is made out of a Quonset hut.
Sarge runs the place represented by an early 1940s WWII Willys Army Jeep. In the Cars movies, his strict military discipline is often contrasted with Fillmore, a 1960s easy-going hippy-era VW Bus.
I try to hit the main structures in Radiator Springs. But don’t know if I missed any. I rushed around before the big show to take these. While I’ve spent the last week showing off these nighttime beauties, the EXIF data indicates that I made all these pictures in 8 minutes. Such is photography during time-limited short vacations.
