Another evening and another opportunity for sunset photography. I’m still in Waikiki but west of my previous sunset beach photos. This will be a mini-series, shot on the same day as my Pearl Harbor tourist excursion.
It was only a couple of hours since eating tasty Udon at Marukame, but lighting conditions changed quickly. After a short rest, I was out there making more images. This time with my big camera, the Fuji GFX 50R with the Canon 35mm f2 IS lens.
I meekly walked out along a concrete jetty, wary of the occasional rogue wave that threatened to endanger my camera. Pointing east and with Diamond Head as a backdrop, I snapped this picture. The sunset color abounds, post-processing amplified the scene.
