I don’t know if it’s possible to see a rainbow during blue hour. But here you go. Though, as you can see, it is not an atmospheric phenomenon. You have the rainbow mosaic lit up in all its glory. My favorite visual feature of the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
This is the last post of this Hawaiian Village series. Some of you probably anticipated this image. Since I was there during the blue hour and previously heaped praise on the building.
I’m generally satisfied with the Fuji GFX 50R. But it has its limits. The skies are blotchier than I like, given that I shot this at ISO 1250 and did extensive shadow lifting. With more effective image stabilization, I could shoot at a lower ISO. Two more stops of stabilization would bring the ISO close to 300, which should produce clean results.
