Of course, I really don’t know if this was a negotiation, but I’m taking creative license labeling my photos. They could be old friends talking about politics. You never know.
For all the cacophony in India, I noticed that their fruit is very well ordered. It’s quite remarkable, really, and there were many such ordered stands in the fruit market. I love the bare lightbulbs hanging around the stall. You can tell they’re the newer non-incandescent version, which is the only thing that gives it away from this being a truly timeless photo.
I like that the market in Mysore wasn’t as crazy busy as Bangalore. It gave me a chance to make clean compositions without the clutter of a crowd.
