I haven’t traveled much during the shutdown, mostly to the supermarkets to get food. I have, however, gotten out a little to do some photography. I use it as part of my health regimen to get exercise via walking, and the meditative and creative aspects for my mental health. Today, I’m at the famous for Austin 360 bridge, which I never usually visit unless I’m capturing the Fourth of July fireworks.
As you can see, I was suitably socially distancing. Yes, I think I was the only pedestrian on the bridge. The cars were sparser than usual too. I was taking bridge pictures and click one more just to get this lone car in the frame.
This is a late model Dodge Challenger, retro-styled to resemble the muscle cars of yore. The leading lines are attractive, but I think the Dodge adds a much-needed element to the image. Having that one car makes the image more robust. Thanks to the pandemic for the much-decreased traffic.
