For my last Times Square street photo, I feature a selfie poser, though you can never be too sure. Some selfie poses are easy to spot, like this one from Little Island. This one was somewhat unsure.
I’m assuming from the hair-preening, she is photographing herself. However, she may have been taking a picture of me taking a picture of her. That would make it more awkward. Nothing happened, and I just continued. That’s part of the trick with street photography. You can’t appear self-conscious as you capture the street.
I walked several blocks south from this location and turned right onto 42nd street, and captured the bright AMC neon — the last image of the night. It was an epically long photo walk — though enjoyable — covered in 96 blog posts. Tomorrow’s post will be from the street but in the morning. It was another day of photography, though only a half day long before I headed for the airport.
