The next day after my ambitious 32,000-step photo walk, I was rested and ready to go. I started back in street photography mode with the Fujifilm X100V, shooting the NASDAQ headquarters on 43rd and Broadway — a building I’ve seen often on financial TV channels like CNBC.
NASDAQ is the modern and fully automated stock exchange which contrasts with the traditional and OG New York Stock Exchange located on Wall Street. Most technology stocks trade on the NASDAQ.
It appears Dime Community Bancshares (DCOM) was listed on the NASDAQ on Tuesday, June 24th, when I shot this. I don’t know how often new shares are listed, but it seemed somewhat significant.

Looks like a spool of ticker tape!
Indeed!
This is a great photography blog post! I love reading about new photography gear and how it is being used in different contexts. I’m interested in learning more about this company’s listing on NASDAQ and hope to see more future posts from this author.
