Here’s one more look at the Shoppes of Marina Bay Sands, a high-end mall in downtown Singapore. I love the sweep of the architecture, which I emphasized further by including the escalator.
A couple of days ago, I talked about taking pictures inside a mall, with a tripod of all things. This was the mall I was referring to. I was surprised how relaxed they were about photography, in contrast to US shopping malls. That was several years ago, and I don’t know if the rules have changed since then.
This time, I just shot freehand with a compact camera. The Canon G7X Mark II did a decent job, and with image stabilization, I was able to shoot at the base ISO. Also, the small sensor creates a deep depth of field, so no need for a tripod.
