My wife and I walked east through Kaka’ako. Warehouses and New Condos gave way to a block or two of gentrifying retail. Hipster Brewpubs interspersed with mechanics shops.
I found this transmission service shop on Queen Street more visually interesting than another bar. It was down several stores from yesterday’s used surfboard store. Unlike yesterday when I tried desperately to minimize the vehicles. Today, I celebrate them.
There appears to be a large backlog of vehicles parked in front of this store, packed and stacked. I remember passing by places like this when growing up in New York — solid establishments catering to the middle class.

Going to repair shops can be very distressing, regardless of the model of the car. I suppose a European import can be even worse.
