As I mentioned a couple of days ago. I’m fond of modern architecture together with palm trees. They have a graphical look that compliments each other. Especially if the building is light and airy like the Hawaii Convention Center.
Yesterday’s statue was by the entrance. Today’s view is from the side next to Kalakaua Avenue, close to this building that I featured two days ago.
This area of Honolulu is roughly halfway between central Waikiki and Ala Moana Center. It doesn’t appear to be unsafe, at least during the daytime. However, it’s a dead zone for tourist activities. We merely passed by on the way to our destination.
